    Dirección General de Servicios al Turista (DGSTAV) Ángeles Verdes "Green Angels" provide free of charge mechanical assistance, tourist information, or roadside assistance.

  • 088 — General Citizen HotLine (GN)
    This is the nationwide citizen assistance number for the Guardia Nacional (National Guard).
    It is free, secure, and confidential. You can report crimes, administrative violations, highway incidents, accidents, extortion attempts, or vehicle breakdowns. Specialized personnel provide guidance and route each case to the appropriate authority.

  • 720 221 6561  — High‑Impact Crime Line
    This is a direct line for high‑impact crimes in which the National Guard intervenes directly.
    It is exclusively for reporting serious crimes and extortion, and was created to offer the public a reliable and officially authorized reporting channel.

Recommendations

  • Use 088 for general reports to the National Guard and for highway‑related emergencies.

  • Call 720 221 6561 if you need to report a high‑impact crime requiring direct National Guard emergency intervention.

  • In immediate emergencies that threaten life or safety, call 911 for rapid assistance from all emergency services.
